Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

KuwaitRates (the iOS and Android apps and this website) is published by MYSTIQUE. Questions about this policy: admin@mystiqueit.com.

2. The short version

• You don't need an account. We never ask for your name, email, phone number or address.
• We don't access your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
• We don't sell your data, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
• We use Google Firebase for anonymous usage statistics and crash reports.
• If you create a rate alert, we store an anonymous push-notification token so we can notify you.

3. What the app collects

Usage statistics (Firebase Analytics). Actions such as the screens you open and the currency you select, together with an anonymous app-instance ID, your device model, operating-system version and app language. Google may derive an approximate country or city from your connection. This is not linked to your identity and is used only to understand which features are useful.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics). When the app crashes: the error details, device model, operating-system version and app version. Used only to fix bugs.

Rate alerts (Firebase Cloud Messaging). When you allow notifications and create an alert, our server stores your device's push token (an anonymous identifier issued by Apple/Google through Firebase), the alert you set (currency or metal, target and direction), your app language and whether the device is iOS or Android. Nothing else is attached to it.

Server logs. Like most online services, our server records technical request data, including IP addresses, for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

4. Sponsored content

The app and website may show banners labelled "Sponsored". They are images served by our own server: there is no advertising network, no ad tracking and no advertising identifier. Tapping a banner opens the advertiser's site in your browser, where that site's own privacy policy applies.

5. Who processes the data

We do not sell or rent data. Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Cloud Messaging) processes the data described above on our behalf; see Google's privacy policy. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. How long we keep it

• Usage statistics and crash reports: according to Firebase's retention settings, after which they are deleted automatically.
• Alerts: until you delete them. Push tokens: removed when they stop working (for example after you uninstall the app) or on request.
• Server logs: only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.

7. Your choices

• Delete your alerts in the app's Alerts tab to remove them from our server.
• Turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
• Uninstalling the app stops all collection.
• For any data request, email admin@mystiqueit.com. Because the data is anonymous we may need details from your device to find it.

8. Children

KuwaitRates is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's store listing.
